TenantDen
Effective date: June 6, 2026
We at TenantDen, Inc. ("TenantDen," "our," "we," or "us") value our users' privacy as we know that you care about how your personal information is collected, used, safeguarded, and shared, and we take that seriously. Please read the following terms to learn more about your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") will help you understand how we collect and use personal information from those who access and make use of our Site and the services that we offer. This Policy also helps you understand the rights and choices you have with respect to your personal information.
By accessing or using the Service in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you consent that we will collect, use, and share your information as described below.
We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy at any time. To stay current with the latest changes, we advise you to visit this page frequently. If at any point TenantDen decides to use any personally identifiable information on file in a manner vastly different from that which was stated when this information was initially collected, the user or users will be promptly notified by email and will have the option whether to permit the use of their information in that separate manner.
This Policy applies to TenantDen and governs all data collection and usage by us in compliance with applicable regulations. Through your use of these Services, you consent to the data collection procedures expressed in this Policy.
We gather various types of information from our users, as explained below, and we use this information internally in connection with our Services — including to personalize, provide, and improve our Services, to allow you to make payments, to communicate with you, and to analyze how you use the Services. In certain cases, we may also share some information with third parties, but only as described below.
This Policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that TenantDen does not control, nor by individuals not employed or managed by us. If you visit a website made available via the Service or a link, review its privacy policy before providing information.
"Account profile and Personal Information" means any information that, alone or in combination with other information we hold about you, identifies you as an individual or a business — for example, your contact information such as your name, email address, telephone number, location information, demographic information, and any other non-public information about you that is associated with the foregoing. You may add a photo, profession, and other details to your public-facing profile; when you create your profile, others can view certain details about your activity on the Services, including content you post and your interests. We collect this information when you sign up for the Service, engage our interactive services, submit feedback and survey responses, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us.
"Anonymous/Aggregated Data" means data that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Information and does not, by itself, permit identification of individual persons. We collect, use, and share Anonymous Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. If we combine Aggregated Data with your personal information so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal information under this Policy.
You can choose not to provide certain information, but this may limit the features of the Services you can use.
Usage Data: When you access or use our Services, we collect details of your visit such as traffic data, date and time of visit, logs, location, error-tracking information, and other usage data and resources you access.
Device and location information: We may collect information about your mobile device, internet connection, and computer, such as your operating system, IP address, and browser type (for example, via Google Analytics). We may also collect location through geolocation technology.
Cookies: We may send one or more cookies to your device to uniquely identify your browser, to improve our software and service, store preferences, and track trends. You can refuse browser cookies through your browser or device settings, though some features may then be unavailable. The cookie practices described in this section apply to all cookies we use.
Links: Content on the Service may include links that allow us to track whether links have been followed by IP addresses, which we use to improve our services and design.
Beacons: Beacons (also "pixel tags" or "clear GIFs") allow us to count users who have accessed the Service and recognize users via cookies, to facilitate Service administration and navigation, track actions, compile aggregated statistics, and improve the experience.
Analytics services: We may use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics to collect, monitor, report, and analyze how users use our Services. These services may use cookies and may transmit analytics information to compile reports on user activity, restricted by each service's terms and privacy policy.
Payment transaction information: Through a third-party payment processor such as Stripe, Inc. (or another processor we may use), certain financial information for payment transactions on our Services may be collected, including payment amount, date and time, instrument expiration date, billing postcode, address, and other transaction details.
Information automatically collected by third parties: Some embedded content may be served by third-party service providers that may use cookies or similar technologies to collect data about you, subject to their own privacy policies.
This site only collects personal information that you knowingly and willingly provide, such as via surveys, completed forms, and emails. TenantDen intends to use personal information only for the purpose for which it was requested and for additional uses specifically provided for in this Policy.
Advertising: We may use information you make available to us to serve interest-based advertising and to measure the effectiveness and reach of our ads. Where required, we will obtain your permission first. As stated below, your mobile/SMS opt-in data is never used or shared for third-party marketing or advertising.
Except as described below, we do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share personal information collected through the Service, because we are committed to maintaining your trust:
Exclusion for SMS and mobile opt-in data. Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, no mobile information, text-messaging originator opt-in data, or SMS consent will be shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to deliver the SMS messages you have requested and is excluded from all of the sharing categories described above. See the "SMS / Text Messaging Program" section below.
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate, essential business purposes — such as maintaining performance, making data-driven decisions about new features, complying with legal obligations, and resolving disputes. We keep some personal information for as long as you are a user.
On request, we will delete or anonymize your personal information so it no longer identifies you, unless we are legally permitted or required to retain it, including where: there is an unresolved issue such as a claim or dispute; we must retain it for legal, tax, audit, or accounting obligations; or retention is necessary for legitimate business interests such as fraud prevention and platform security.
Applicable data-protection regulations grant you certain rights:
We are committed to protecting your data and adopt commercially reasonable physical and electronic measures to ensure the integrity and security of the Personal Information we hold. Payment transactions are encrypted in transit using TLS (formerly SSL) technology. If you have chosen a password, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and although we do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security; any transmission is at your own risk. We have implemented encryption, access, and retention policies to guard against unauthorized access and unnecessary retention.
If you are a California resident, this section provides additional information about your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA").
Over the past twelve months we have collected the following categories from California residents: unique identifiers (e.g., first and last name, gender, address, IP address); internet or other electronic network activity (e.g., content interaction, downloads, search history, transaction and interaction data, and link activity in our emails); geolocation data; photo, video, or visual information such as your profile photo; inference data such as purchase preferences, interests, feedback, and survey responses; and other information that identifies or can reasonably be associated with you.
We obtain these categories directly from users who provide the information; indirectly as you navigate the Services (via cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies); and from third-party service providers.
Over the past twelve months we disclosed for a business purpose: identifiers (name, email address, billing address, IP address); personal information such as a payment card number processed by a third-party processor; protected classifications such as age, age range, or gender if you participate in a survey; and geolocation data from your IP address.
You have the right to request that we disclose the categories of personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources, our business or commercial purpose for collecting it, the categories shared with service providers, and the specific pieces of personal information collected, over the past twelve months. Only you or someone legally authorized may make a verifiable consumer request; designated agents must submit proof of authorization. You may make up to two such requests in a twelve-month period.
You have the right to request deletion of your personal information. We may deny a request where retaining the information is necessary to complete the purpose for which it was collected, provide a requested service, perform our contract with you, detect security incidents and protect against fraudulent or illegal activity, exercise free speech, comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act or other legal obligations, or make other internal and lawful uses compatible with the context in which you provided it.
You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights under the CCPA, and TenantDen will not discriminate against any consumer for doing so.
TenantDen's Services are not directed to, and do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from, children under the age of eighteen (18). If we determine that such information has been inadvertently collected from anyone under 18, we will take the necessary steps to delete it from our systems.
Account information: You may update certain information (such as your password, name, and email address) by logging into your account or contacting support@tenantden.com. To delete your account, contact support@tenantden.com; we may retain certain information where required or permitted by law.
SMS messages: You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP (see the SMS section below).
Advertising preferences: You can modify the information used to select interest-based ads through your preference settings on the website.
Do Not Track: Like many sites, we do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
TenantDen does not accept responsibility for the privacy policies or practices of third-party sites or resources. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Policy applies only to information collected by our Site.
TenantDen sends SMS text messages only to users who have explicitly opted in to receive them through our website or mobile application.
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box (which is unchecked by default) at the time of account registration or in your account settings, you consent to receive text messages from TenantDen. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or of using our Services.
Message frequency varies based on your activity and account preferences. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, reply STOP to any message at any time; you will receive a one-time confirmation and no further SMS messages will be sent. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@tenantden.com.
No sharing of SMS / mobile opt-in data. No mobile information, text-messaging originator opt-in data, or SMS consent will be sold or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. The categories of sharing described in the "Personal Information That We Share" section above expressly exclude text-messaging opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
